Does anyone know if you can you both Glasgow or Liverpool for passport express- I'm in London and I find it's cheaper to fly to Glasgow than getting train to Liverpool.

Thanks

Re: Foreign Birth Registration?

So... the postman has just been, and made me a very happy bunny! Date of entry... 15 June 2017. Letter dated... 27 June 2017. This was for my application which was received in London on 16 December 2016 before being sent to Dublin. So, give or take a few days... it was a 7 month turnaround. Has anyo...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration?

Thanks. I have the originals OK (cert copies) but need to supply photocopies as well I see. So am not sure if a scan and printed copy from my PC is acceptable. (I did photocopies of most but forgot some!) Ah, do you mean the certified photocopies? Scan and print should be fine (it's what I did!) - ...

Neither. It has to be the original! Long form too, no shortened certificates.

If you don't have it, you can order a replacement for about £9ish

Re: Foreign Birth Registration?

I'm applying for FBR for my London born daughter who is under 18. I want to use my Irish mother as the provider of heritage. I'm not Irish but the online form keeps insisting I fill in my details as the parent. The form forces me to fill in my own details as the parent and mentions "Citizenshi...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration?

I have just come across this helpful site as I have my documents ready to complete the online FBR. Can anyone tell me how long the online part takes? I understand that you have to complete it in one hit. You do, but it's very quick to complete. As you'll have all the info anyway with your certifica...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration?

Hey, just checking back in with my data points! I applied and paid online for FBR 1 Jan 2017, but wound up having to wait for one final document to mail. I posted everything from the US to Dublin on 26 Jan 2017. I don't know when exactly it was received, but I was entered in the register 23 May 201...

Re: Foreign Birth Registration?

If your children are claiming citizenship through your wife is it not possible to send your children's applications off now? Good luck! Thanks :) I'm waiting until I know they've definitely accepted mine. My grandmother's Christian name on her birth certificate is in abbreviated form for some stran...

Hi! :) I'm one of these lurkers who's been reading for a while so I thought I'd throw my hat into the ring. I finally got everything together to apply for FBR on 10th December 2016 and as they'd changed the online system by then, my credit card was charged straight away (no checking bankers drafts f...
