I stayed legally in the USA on F1 (Student Visa) from Aug 1998 till Feb 2002. Than I overstayed my F1 visa from March 2002 till April 2006.Now I am planning to apply for work permit for Canada. How my overstay record in the USA will affect my work permit application for Canada?

I was charged in the USA.

My probation was ended on Dec. 2001.

I was fined USD 500, no jail sentence.

I am a citizen of India and I am applying from India or Oman.

Doesn't HSMP application form clearly indicates if applicant doesn't have one of two documents, income tax returns & 12 months wage slips, than applicant needs one of two documents, 12 months bank statements & employer letter stating salary earned?
