I don't have time to troll--especially on such a forum. So you can stop "fearing".

Ridiculous.

Re: What money do I need if I am a non-boarding student?

So I take it that what I asked in my post refers to Tier 4 child. Thanks.

Also, thanks for keeping track of my posts. Appreciated.

What money do I need if I am a non-boarding student?

Re: Bank statement and proof of funds

Reviewed some parts of the guidance and it's clearer now. Well this: If I'm applying for and receiving a student loan, then this is what applies to me: " 219. Documents needed to show money available to you v. Letter from a regulated financial institution confirming a loan The loan letter (s) f...

Re: Query related to RLMT Validity

Just to be on the safe side, do you know which two sites? Was it advertised on any job site and on the universal jobmatch site? It has to be advertised on universal jobmatch in order to meet RLMT requirements.

RE: your question, I think you should be okay.

Bank statement and proof of funds

"3. You must show that you have held the required money for a consecutive 28 day period (finishing on the date of the closing balance) ending no more than 31 days before your application" I don't think I understand this. My bank prepares bank statements like this: "...We hereby certif...

Re: RLMT job adverts vs. COS salary- Urgent help

I'd recommend that you speak with the company and make sure that they do everything correctly. I'm sure that's all an officer needs to reject your application: why are two different salaries advertised? If I were you, I would also go through the guidance on RLMT (it's a PDF on gov.uk) to see exactly...

How did you deal with this catch-22?; Universal jobmatch

1. You need (to prove) the legal right to work to get a job; you need a job to be afforded the legal right to work. How did you deal with that situation? Did you still send out applications? When called to interviews? Did you go? What did you do? Any success stories? (Btw, I'm not referring to jobs ...

The list of subjects for secondary school teachers under the shortage occupation list is now: -Math -Physics -Science PLUS -Mandarin (ie. they're only referring to one language; so Spanish, French, German etc. are not relevant) -Computer Science These are the only 2 subjects added. All the best. htt...

Re: Tier 5 Government authorised exchange for non EEA nation

Hiya, I actually came across this document. It doesn't address my question though. And it actually states up to 12 months of work experience (under the schemes of the different overarching bodies that apply to me). No where in the doc mentions 6 months. I guess this (the 6 months; must be enrolled i...

Tier 5 Government authorised exchange for non EEA national

Hi everyone, I read the full guidance (https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/618752/Tier_5__TW__Policy_Guidance.pdf) on Tier 5 GAE and nowhere did I read/see any disclaimers as below: -non-EEA nationals can only intern for up to 6 months -non-EEA nationals must be...

Re: Urgent! Minimum salary for experienced worker under SOC

I can't answer your questions, but if I were you, I'd want the company to get that sorted out. The information says 31, 100 not 31,000 so I don't think you/the company should be cutting this so close. " Minimum appropriate salary rate New entrant: £24,000, Experienced worker: £31,100" http...

Re: Help about Resident Labour Market Test

To answer your question, from what I've researched on the RLMT, certain conditions must be fulfilled including but not limited to: 1. Job must be advertised on the Universal Jobmatch website AND 2. On another reputable national medium eg. newspaper, journal etc. (for a total of no less than 28 days)...

I've been doing some research and I've come across links that make reference to work permits AND to work visas. However, based on the info. on https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/uk-visas-and-immigration, "work permits" are NOT a thing/they don't exist...or do they? 1. Is it that w...

Re: Family of a settled person visa only applies to?

Thanks to both of you. I'm in the U.K. I've just been doing some research on what options are available. I thought that the family visa would be a possibility (but it looks like it's limited to parents, children, spouse, and private life). I also came across UK residence card, but on the application...
