hi scurdu,
infomation from DOJ is correct, if a person have a valid student visa at the time of applying for residency on basis of marriage to irish national, he will be granted stamp4 from local immigration office on producing required documentaion.

ewe , your existing application will be reviwed and you get response from DOJ let them know if you have change your address they will be in touch in 3-4 months check with ur republic of ireland address, they will notyfy u on this address and both of u should be present there..

knapps i will advice you to fly direct from cork to germany and book any cheap ticket from germany to czech, this is more convinent and inexpensive and in this way you don't need any visa any hassel to travel upto dublin for visa stuff, still u better know ur situation..

yes once u have spend 5 years on this status you will apply for LTR and can live in republic permenently, many of my friendz in dublin are on same status and they have checked with DOJ they told the same story..

hi there mr. whoever,
as faras i know stamp 1a is for accountancy training visa, after being 5 year on such status you are eligible to apply for nutralisation/LTR..n your spouse can join you in ireland ...

you do not need any student visa to persue any kind of study , if you have spouse visa on the basis of married to irish or EEA national and you are exempt from most of the feeses..

my wife is from eastern europe and i am non eu member of the family , i was living in ireland legally 2 year before i got my first year stamp direct from local immigration office in sep2005 and and now i've got rest for 5 years .. thanks

got registered envelope from dep of justice dublin yesterday morning after submmiting my application allmost 6 months and 3 week , but still good have it now, i have got 5 years alltogather, hope other guys will get their letters soon ! and good thing is that i don't need any irish re-entry visa fro...
