Hi, do many applicants from oct 2011 still waiting,i received acknowledgement in start of oct 2011, emailed them last week got same reply viewing to establish if I meet critera ,it is crazy ,people applied in mid of 2012 attending this ceremony,very frustating and very disapointing.

They received 18000 applications in 2011, minister mentioned in his statement in april this year,we wish all backlog be over in next 4 months, pray to GOD to ALLAH

Most of the applications processed out of 37000 were from 2008,2009and 2010.

No gifts for us from minister of justice over this x mas.

I am wating for 15 months.

Should be one in feb,every second month ,not 100% sure.

Yes, I know one guy from noshra applied in mar 2012 and got approval in oct 2012. On 5 yr base.

I applied july and got acknowlegement on 4 oct 2011. No joy.

I rang them tofay aswell , lady answered she said your application is in middle if we meed anything we will write you, wating for garda report cant tell when was it requested ,she said they are v busy clearing d b log and have received hundreds of garda reports recently. friend of mine applied in march 2012 applied on 5 yr residency got approval 4 weeks ago for dec 13th ceremony ..can't understand applied 6 months before him still waiting for garda report ...

I got d same reply, this means they are wating for your garda report,once they have it your application will be processed to advance stage wating for approval from minister.

Congraulations kike any all other got approvals recently , hopefully there will be more approvals in the morning.

Got instant reply of my email from citizenship office its states: Your application is currently being processed with a view to establishing whether it meets the statutory conditions for the granting of naturalisation, such as good character and lawful residence, and will be submitted to the Minster ...
