Re: Urgent Brp expiring

No, your residency status will not be affected. You will simply renew your residency card not status if needed. However since you have your citizenship application in HO already wait for the response first.

You have to wait. I’m also waiting for mine. Been 1.5 months after biometric for me, so just wait.

Re: **** COVID19 Biometrics appointments and UKVCAS ***** (Discuss here ONLY)

I have a family of 8. I had to pay £880 to get appointment as there was no free appointment for two weeks with intensive search just like yours. Someone submitted his application same day as mine and got free appointment a week after. I got a month after despite paying £880. It is therefore the way...

I can imagine your frustration, I am just two months into it and I am already tired. Unfortunately there is no other way to check than to just wait for the approval letter to come either by email or post. You can however try calling them as you mentioned, it has worked for some in the past.

Of course you can write your name in the name area. What is important for the referee to write is their details and signature.

Also note that all this is not really required for citizenship. They just want to know if you worked legally during the time you are legally resident in UK.

Re: BC Employment confusion

It depends on how your income is structured. If it is PAYE you just add your payslips, if as self employed yes you add your SA302

Re: British citizenship approval email

I think it has mentioned your sound approval as well. They will only send your sons certificate now while you wait for your invitation letter for your ceremony. I have read something like that from someone’s posting in the past.

Re: **** COVID19 Biometrics appointments and UKVCAS ***** (Discuss here ONLY)

I can not honestly understand why there is no consistency and uniformity in the decision timelines. How can people be allowed to wait endlesslessly beyond 6 months after paying exorbitant fees for application. It’s not fair to say the least and unfortunately there nothing, absolutely nothing anyone ...

Re: BC Employment confusion

You need to mention your employment in your company when you were a Director on Tier 1 entrepreneur visa or else it will be counted as deception except you were not taking salary during this time from the company and it was just incorporated and you were just a Director.

Re: 3-6 points on my driving license after Naturalisation approval

Sorry for all this experience you have had. I think they will apply discretion as you never had any criminal convictions before this incidence. I hope you got your friend to also write to confirm the truth of the circumstance as that could also help. It could have been very good if the paramedics ev...

It’s been a while since November, you can call HO first and see their response. I think they are overwhelmed because of the pandemic

Wow you are very lucky. I searched for a week without success before I paid 880 for 8 applicants. I think it somehow depends on your location, some places are better than the others.

Re: Advice on Life in the UK test for citizenship

Hi experts, I am about to start my application for the UK naturalisation. I am currently on ILR since March 2018 and had passed my life in the UK test in January 2018. I realise that it has been 3 years since I had passed the test. I was wondering if I need to re-take the test again since it has be...
