Re: Return of documents

I have just received my approval letter. They have not needed any more documents and did not seem to bother calling my references. Now it is a matter of waiting for the ceremony invitation and attending the actual ceremony. Naturalisation App: 14/7 Receipt by UKBA: 15/7 Return of documents requested...

Re: Return of documents

When you go through the request online, it takes you through a few steps with confirmations. One of them is a checkbox that asks whether or not you wish to withdraw the application. Just select NO, and proceed from there. Hi, I know i have made this grave mistake but there is no back space. As per r...

Re: Return of documents

Got a letter yesterday, 29/09/2015 from the Home Office. It is the first and only letter received from them about my application. The letter said the fees could not be charged because of incorrect expiry date of my card. Strange because I always double and triple check all the forms before sending t...

Re: Return of documents

I got my documents returned today! It took 30 working days since R.O.D. request, with 2 progress requests and a 2nd R.O.D. request. The letter says that I may have to send them in again, when the work starts on my application. Another words, they WASTED TIME. Home Office, are you reading this? I am ...

Which phone number did you call and which option to actually speak to a liver person if its over 30 working days?

Thanks
Meantime, I have lodged a SECOND return of documents online form. How many times do you have to do it until they respond?

Re: Return of documents

I also made a grave mistake of not using NCS.. I only found out about NCS one day before sending out the application with the documents and just assumed that the return of documents form will be effective enough. Naturalisation App: 14/7 Receipt by UKBA: 15/7 Return of documents requested: 19/07, R....

I have a similar situation. Visa granted 19/02/2009. EC 17/07/2009. Extened my Tier 1 until 19/02/2014. At the end of my current stay will be 4 months short of full 4 years 11 months year term to apply for ILR. I really would like to avoid having to extend again, only to apply for ILR about 3 months...

Self-employed income inc VAT or ex vat ?

I am in Australia where we have GST (same as VAT in UK) As I operate as a limited company, my invoices attract a 10% tax (you can call it VAT). Therefore, I get paid the gross amount plus the GST/VAT every time. Having asked this question with HSMP info line, they said they believe I can claim my in...
