Hi folks, I'd appreciate a little assistance in the following inquiry please. My wife is a non-EEA citizen living in the UK. She has both an Article 10 residence card (issued by Germany) and now a 5 year British Residence Card (leave to remain). If we visit France, is the Article 10 card still suffi...

Thanks for the help.

Just in case this is of any help to somebody in the same situation: The letter that they sent us was in fact wrong or not relevant. At the appointment today we received the 5 year Aufenthaltskarte!

Germany: Non-EU - Aufsthaltstitel or Aufenthaltskarte?

Hello, I would like clarification on the following question please: Should the non-EU spouse of a UK citizen in Germany be provided with the aufenthaltstitel or aufenthaltskarte, or both? My partner applied at the ausländerbehörde for the aufenthaltskarte under the FreizügG / EU, which ought to prov...

Thanks for the reply.

What is the validity and duration of such a visit? Is it 6 months in 12 month period?

EEA Family Permit: Requirements for SS route

I would like to know if there is a current baseline for the center of life requirements for the EEA Family Permit (SS route). My spouse and I are currently 3 months into the SS route and are looking to apply for the EEA Family Permit to visit the UK. Is this likely to be rejected given the limited t...

Re: Denmark long term Visa for Spouse of Pakistani origin

Hello, You can get the attestations and translations done at Kacheri (Courts) in Rawalpindi, if that is close to you. Here is what I did: - Took my original Nikkah nama and had it translated into English. There are many people sitting within the kacheri who can do this (get it done for a few hundred...

Re: Führungszeugnis for RC - Spouse of EU

We actually went in without an appointment and thus no application. The October date he has given us is for an actual submission of application. We will be looking to relocate to another area soon and hopefully their local immigration office is more efficient and understanding.

Thanks for your help!

Re: Führungszeugnis for RC - Spouse of EU

Update: We visited the Ausländerbehörde again this morning and unfortunately, it was the same staff member who we met previously and who advised that a führungszeugnis was required. We talked to him and showed him the printout documentation for Berlin - the link provided by gokulatti. He was adamant...

Re: Führungszeugnis for RC - Spouse of EU

Thanks again for the reply! That has put my mind at ease as I was visualising a real horror story. In terms of exercising treaty rights (for the purpose of moving back to the UK and the EEA family permit), when does exercising the free movement rights commence? From the date the EU citizen is employ...

Re: Führungszeugnis for RC - Spouse of EU

Thank you for the replies. FYI: We registered in Germany the very first week that we arrived, which was around a month ago. So the next course of action: Is it advisable to visit the Ausländerbehörde again without appointment and this time speak to them seeking clarification about their requirements...

Re: Non EU spouse moving to Germany

I have seen that webpage but I do not see anything specific to Germany and I am confused about the period of self sufficiency that needs to be declared. Do annual statements need to be shown or can monthly statements be shown covering a period of 6 months......?

Re: Non EU spouse moving to Germany

Does anyone know what the self sufficient minimum requirements are for the EU spouse?

Also if the source of income saved is from outside of Germany.. for what duration should the bank statements cover?
