Today i called Home Office.. and they informed me the following status:

" You application is waiting for Verification Check"

Can somebody please elaborate this status? what does it mean exactly..?

If you are sending your HSMP application through courier or some special service, then you need to send at the "Balm Green" address.. Else if you are sending through by normal post, then you need to send it to "PO BOX 3975" address... I recommend you to read the HSMP Guidance doc...

Abid, You MUST send the Bank Statement for the last 12 months in addition to the letter from employer..... What is your "Overall IELTS Band".. If its band 6 or higher, then you can claim English Language Requirement of HSMP Application.

Otherwise, you have to re-attempt IELTS..
