Hi

Please be clear on this: You HAVE to get it stamped and signed by your HR dept. Its clearly written in the Guidance Notes that E slips need to be signed and stamped. In general, please do not assume that the caseworker is going to be an 'understanding' or a 'forgiving' kind of a person.

Hi Raman,

As I said, I cant figure out. Maybe they are categorising or queuing on some other basis. I am assuming that my case has been allocated since I have received an email from a specific individual, rather than from their general email id.

I guess I will know for sure only in another 2-3 days.

Hi Aussiedude / Raman999,

My ref number is 2034** and it seems that it has been allocated to a case worker on Thursday since I got a mail from them asking about my address. So, I can't figure out their queuing system.

John, Pardon my ignorance; I didnt know either the size or the multi cultural nature of Aston Birmingham. Regarding the debate of Birmigham vs London, I live in Muscat Oman which I would say sounds similar to Birmingham - no public transportation but very easy to go around and everything is within 1...

Hi I would suggest you look at one more factor besides climate, safety etc. i.e. ability to socialise. If you are from another country, it might take longer to settle in the social circles in a smaller town rather than a place like London. It can get pretty lonely and boring unless one has figured o...

Hi Chakritsus, Regarding reference number, you will get it a few days after your payment has cleared. Payment is meant to get cleared in 1 day if its by credit card, and 5 days (1 week) if by cheque. Regarding evidence for income, my personal opinion is that you have taken a risk; one should not ass...

Hello friends, My experience and understanding has been that we should not assume any kind of judgement or common sense from the HSMP decision makers. If they have mentioned in their guidance notes that IELTS or Univ certification, then you can be sure that nothing else will work, not even TOEFL Che...
