hi everyone

my wife and stepson (both indonesian) are applying for a us tourist visa (both have been granted uk residency but not citizenship yet).

does anyone have any advice to help us through the procedure? We have booked an interview and filled out the online forms so far.

my wife is due to complete her 3 year qualifying period for uk citizenship in june 2010.
will the proposed changes to the citizenship process affect her if she applies next june?
there seems to be come confusion surrounding this on the internet searches i have made

hi everyone My indonesian wife is living with me here in the uk on a 2 year spouse visa. when my wife arrives at gatwick (she has obtained a settlement visa) she will be carrying some of her favourite dvd"s and music cd"s...

...do these items need to be declared? they are for her personal use...is there any limit to how many she can bring with her?

a friend of ours recieved their spouse visa within 24 hours of applying to the british embassy in jakarta. is getting that elusive first visa the hardest step in these situations? or is our hard work only just starting?

My Indonesian wife will soon be applying for a spouse visa so she can join me in England. Will i need to to be present when she applies? If i send photocopies of my passport & birth certificate, will that suffice rather than the orginals?
