Re: Check the status of your application online - New service

I have now traced about 200 applications (ref 2xxxxxx700 to 2xxxxxxx900) in which 3 are mine - applied 9-Jun-2017, receipt confirmation sent to me on 19-Jun-2017. Here is the statistics: 76/201 are "not recognised" - majority would be family members of main applicant, these don't get upda...

Hussainfarhad can you tell me when you applied ?
Cristiano, I don't think there is much to worry about, we both had the luck of getting really slow case workers. To be honest no news is better than a reject ;-).

Re: Check the status of your application online - New service

I think naturalisation statistics showed they were was in the double digit thousands per year (10-20k if not mistaken). That would be per month. See: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/638761/citizenship-apr-jun-2017-tables.ods Look at tab: cz-01_q, you have t...

Re: Check the status of your application online - New service

I was wondering if someone could write an easy script to pull data from say 1000 applications and run some stats on them. What you say about the untraceable numbers being family members linked to main applicants also makes sense. I just checked my case ID for my EEA PR application and it follows th...

If you asked me, the answer is no, last news and update was acknowledgement letter, biometric request and update to the online status check (awaiting decision) - all done on 19-Jun. No news since...

Re: Check the status of your application online - New service

Anyway, they say the queries made for a citizenship application are more extensive as compared to those for ILR or DCPR, but I don't really think they do a lot more. I applied for the document certifying permanent residence on 14 June and received it mid August. Provided they made most queries at t...

Re: BC referee is being nosey?!

I, on the other hand, insisted on both my referees to have a look at all documentation including the passports - as I wanted to be absolutely transparent in why I need their support, contact details and signature. As both know me for a good part of 20 years they laughed and didn't want to see that, ...

Re: Check the status of your application online - New service

People were reporting the updates appearing around noon. No point checking more than once a day since one must wait for weeks then anyway for the paperwork to go through. I'm also extremely frustrated, where in my (straight) case, I'm now waiting for 3 months longer then other people and my applicat...

Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Process

Mine is one of those August applications. What I'd like to see out of interest is how many applications are decided fairly quickly that had been submitted via a solicitor. They tell you it doesn't matter how you apply but I bet it does. It shouldn't matter to the outcome as long as all the paperwor...

Re: Has the HO become more strict post June 2016?

Well now I'm completely stressed and concerned my application will just be arbitrarily denied. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best and you won't be disappointed. Treat the money you spent on application as a gambling fund. You will normally lose to the house (Exchequer wins), but you may...

Re: Has the HO become more strict post June 2016?

It is clearly Brexit that caused a significant increase of citizenship applications from EEA citizens - this should have been well foreseen by Home Office. The little spikes correspond with when David Cameron announced the intention for referendum (2010), when it was made clear there is going to be ...

Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Process

All true but they shouldn’t say they process them in order then as it’s false advertising! There has to be a better and more streamlined way to do this which gives clarity to those applying. I know u have to be patient but when the system seems so disorganised one does start to wonder if ones appli...

Re: 60+ days Employment gap - Will it affect Naturalisation?

You will be at the case worker mercy - they have full discretion. Don't like the colour of your hair - rejected (thank you very much for the £1300 for the exchequer by the way), don't like what you do for a living - rejected, have a hangover from the weekend long partying - rejected. And they don't ...

If that's of any help T400, I've submitted my family application 3 weeks later, paid nearly £6000 and still no news. Well as we all know, Brexit was all about getting rid of us Poles, so I'm not at all surprised we are dealt with the lowest priority... No point emailing until 6 months is up - they'l...

Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Process

Strange thing is that people who has applied after me have received their desc ion .. It seems that for Asian application, they are taking more than 3 months to decide..
