@smarter1. The 'another forum' has a big discussion thread on priority application. That's what was confusing me. But I'm 99.99% sure it can't be used for settlement.

I guess I'm just getting fidgety and anxious for my wife and her application. I thought she would have been in the UK by now.

Hi, My US-based wife is currently on business day 65 for a non-priority Spouse visa application. When I made the application all I could find was non-priority, however in various places I see reference to a priority spouse visa. Does that really exist? I did a bit more googling and now see that the processing times for applicants from the US has now doubled from 60 business days up to 120 business days. I was hoping for some positive news but that is rather bad.

I applied for my US-based wife in July and we're now over 60 business days since the application went in. I called the UKVI call centre and the case is now escalated but I've been told we have to wait another 20 days (presumably business days) before I can call again. I've read in random immigration...
