tbh i didn't met anyone whoseee in same situation like you.. I hope they will be kind to you after seeing Domestic violence... but so far my experience with department is not that good, sometime they go completely against what they mention on ther web, email or EUlaws... two things you need to know for EU5. 1. you can't apply EU5 on separation. for EU5 you need decree of divorce, without this they will not proceed. see question number 18. http://www.inis.gov.ie/en/INIS/Pages/EUTreatyRightsFAQs#Q18 2. if this happened I'll say you are really lucky.. because I'm in same situation and went to lots of solicitors and they said you can't.. as Irish Law can't bypass EU Law..

I believe first you will need to clear that your Stamp4 permission was valid or Not. for that you will need to apply for EU5.. I don't have much experience like other senior members but it sounds strange to me.. just one GP letter will not work in your case.. if GP said she can't work completely that means she's very ill. that mean she has some serious issue.. that means you guys should have some medical reports, blood test...

looks like they are suggesting you to apply EU5 if I'm not wrong. and if so EU5 condition is your mrrg should lasted 3 years minimum.. and EU person was exercising Treaty rights..
