Re: Tier 2 Visa delay - 43 days

Thank you. Appreciate it. You should have been my advisor in the first place then.

Re: Tier 2 Visa delay - 43 days

I would have thought Tier 2 General would have been more appropriate if it is a completely separate legal entity company as you are not effectively being 'deputised' to the UK but starting with a different employer. You know what, you could be right. My case is very unusual to the external solicito...

Re: Tier 2 Visa delay - 43 days

Sorry chan to hear that. I m really sorry about that. What sort of checks, what were they upto. What type of job were u offered, and why they withdrew it? They did not mention what sort of checks. It was an ICT visa, couldn't have been more straightforward since no proof of English proficiency or c...

Re: Tier 2 Visa delay - 43 days

Hi chan any update? My job offer is withdrawn. It's been 13 weeks in total, yesterday the Home Office Decision Making Centre emailed to say my application hasn't been straightforward and extended checks are needed. No time scale can be given as to when a decision will be made. They are only telling...

Re: Tier 2 Visa delay - 43 days

Guys, I have received an email from the HO requesting for supporting documents of my application which I personally submitted three months ago. I replied to their email with the necessary documents two days ago and I still haven't heard anything from them. The online tracker says my GWF is not recog...

Re: Application track Status

I am waiting too. Submitted on 26july. Second time application, refused due to insufficient proof of English in the first time. Received the email regarding not straightforward application on 16aug. Re: Application track Status

Nothing. I emailed ukvi again and they said a decision has been made, but so far no txt from vfs, no email, can't track in on the courier website. Maybe this afternoon I'll finally receive that long awaited notification. Ugh. What ID do you use to track the status? Any trick to keying in the number...

Re: Application track Status

I re sent my documents August 10. They asked for IELTS certificate, TB certificate and Police Clearance, all of which I had originally submitted on July 7th. I scanned them and sent them to an email address that they gave me. And then they made the decision on the same day. Have you heard anything ...

Re: Application track Status

I saw! You know, I can't track my status at all, even though over the phone they told me it's 'awaiting a decision'. I have used GWF, IHS, and the reference ID on escalation. I wonder why! Yours is a standard application right? Congratulations! Keep us posted please...

Yes, I have tried calling them and they said the status is 'awaiting approval' and they can't do much about it now. I will update here and the timeline once I hear anything. :)

Re: Application track Status

Her case was escalated Aug2 and got her visa Aug9. My documents were perfectly complete when I submitted them. This issue is more common than we may think, them losing documents. Either that or vfs' system is horrible. My case was escalated on 28 July and I haven't heard anything from the Home Offi...

Do you know on which day after escalation did she get her visa?

I saw you updated your timeline and the Home Office is requesting your scanned copies of documents? Didn't you have your documents scanned at the VFS already?

Re: Application track Status

The vendor's advice is to wait for a few mor...

Re: Tier 2 ICT FastTrack Delayed

Hi abdrazak, Thanks so much for replying so quickly. It's ridiculous to hear that they charge you per email query. Once your query is answered, a new charge applies. Today is the 15th day since the escalation of your case right? Please update us once you hear anything and I'll do the same too! :) Th...

Re: Tier 2 ICT FastTrack Delayed

Hi Prudent, Sad to hear that. My case is somewhat similar to your husband's - except that I applied in normal mode. I appeared for my biometrics on 16th May and now it is past 40 working days without any progress on my visa. However, I called the UKVI and got my case escalated on 22nd June. The thi...
