Looks like that is the best option as well i think. Any idea how easy it is to switch from a student visa to another type, or is it better for her to finish her course (2 years) and then apply for unmarried partner visa.

This is a nightmare to sort out.................... :shock:

Hi guys

We are in the same position as you. Unmarried partners need to have been living together for minimum of two years and need to be able to prove this as well.

If we find a way to sort this out I will let you know, We are trying really hard to get this sorted

Student visa option

Looks like the best way here is the student visa option as she wants to study in UK as well. Hoping for a part time option but I think only full time available with student visa

BNO passport Question & Right of Abode

Hi all, quick question.

Does a British National Overseas (BNO) passport holder have right of abode in the UK as standard or, are the holders able to remain in the UK and work for an indefinate amount of time. This is a general question from a previous post after digging up more info.
