How many letters are sent by HO

Hello everyone. I have read that some people received an approval letter with implicit invitation to book a ceremony at their local council. I am assuming that letter has all the references needed in order to book the event. However some others are waiting for the invitation although they have alrea...

Re: Biometric Card

Thank you very much for your response.

As a conclusion:

EEA family member BRP card doesn't need to be send to HO once such a person becomes British citizen.

Am I right?

Any link confirming that?

Once again thank you.

Re: Biometric Card

Hello there. Few weeks ago I posted similar question regarding sending back the Biometric permanent Residence Card of an EEA family member (plastic format) and someone said that it should be sent back while others said the opposite as it is granted under EU law so belongs to the EEA family member. Hi Silver.... I didn't see her copping my documents. She told me she copied all my passport pages where stamps and the attached Residence of five year could be seen. Re: Application through Nationality Checking Services.

Hi Tea_Rocker. Thanks for your message. Yes. My passport was stamped but not every time. Some officials at borders in the UK and in Europe considered that was not necessary as I was exercising my EEA family member rights. However some stamps could be seen through the 5 years period and actually the ...

Re: Naturalisation - EEA Family member - residence requirement

If that letter states clearly the date you have acquired permanent resident right it's enough then.
I asked for SAR because I didn't have such a letter and I was advised to prove the exact date of permanent resident right as isn't the same of permanent residence card issue date.

Re: Naturalisation - EEA Family member - residence requirement

If you ask for your SAR which was free. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/requests-for-personal-data-uk-visas-and-immigration (in order to know the exact date you have acquired permanent resident right) And you use the nationality checking service for around £80 You won't need to provide to...
