Child Benefit

I am on Tier 2 general for the last 2 years. I am married to a British National. We recently had our first child. She wants to claim child benefit, however I am not sure.

Will that affect any of my future applications? Say if I wanted to convert to FLRm

Thanks

For extensions, is the new BRP mailed back with the passport or does one have to go collect if from post office?

Re: Tier 2 to Spouse visa

is P60 critical for this application? I started the job 6 months ago and so P60 shows yearly salary as below below 18.6 cutoff. It does not specify the start date of the job.

Do i need to attach P60 with the 6 month payslips?

thank you

My tier 2 was issued for 1 year and will expire in November. My employer wants me to find out how to get it extended now. Can someone please guide me through the procedure? I know RLMT is not needed. Can I apply for extension now? What documents would I need?

Re: Visa Refusal - Tier 2 Genaral

Sech, one more question.

You might have mentioned that the Cos will take 2-3 weeks to be issued. or does it vary from HR to HR? My department set the start date as Sept 1. Is that too soon given I haven't received the CoS yet?

Thanks much

Re: Visa Refusal - Tier 2 Genaral

Sure Cr001. my apologies, although the said person is a nobel laureate and a public figure and its part of the Royal Society's mandate to facilitate scientist immigration. The issue has been discussed in Nature for instance and former presidents have argued that they fought to bring 1000 Tier 1 visa...
