VO doesn't have to do anything with the application upheld, I have seen people with proper offices are waiting as well where recently people with home or VO address are getting Visa's in 3 weeks. Its just unfortunate that few peoples are waiting for long time and others are getting the extension fas...

What is your timeline.? Have you got VO or premises? What additional docs they asked from you? I would suggest if you have applied from solicitor then ask them to send home office a letter or you can e-mail at complaints@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk to explain the situation hopefully this might help speed...

IHS was refunded on 13/10/2017 but Status is still 'Awaiting a decision'.

IHS refund doesn't mean anything, I have been refunded on 24th August and still no correspondence from HO. Its blessing in disguise in sort, when did you apply for your extension? Thanks
