Re: Employer can't do £35k - need advice on options

If you have been on the tier 2 visa for 5 years, you should be eligible to apply for an ILR?

Re: Download Biometric Enrollment Letter

Hi, I have submitted nearly 6 weeks ago and still I haven't heard anything from UKVI. And 1 more thing which I forgot! If you log in to your application (where you were asked to print out to biometric letter and document checklist), are you still able to print your biometric letter? For some reason...

I have applied on the 18th September and also not heard back.

Guess we still have to wait. Please update when you hear back and I will do the same!

Other job offer while Tier 2 extension pending

Hi everyone, I have applied for my tier 2 extension (standard) about a month ago. I have just been informed that I have been invited for a final stage interview with another company (they have a sponsor license and have completed the RLMT as far as I am away). Should I secure that job offer before m...

Re: Download Biometric Enrollment Letter

I dont see the point of speaking to the post office as they will not know what to do - I believe their job is only to take the biometrics.

I applied on the 18th, printed out the letter and did my biometrics on the 21st. I then received the letter on the 28th.

What do you plan on doing?

Re: Download Biometric Enrollment Letter

Yea we are in the same situation. I have tried to call them but am unable to get through as it has not been 8 weeks yet and the automated phone system does not let me connect. Does your employer have any contacts with Home office? Maybe they can ask them and let us know? Its a really annoying situat...

Re: Download Biometric Enrollment Letter

Hi, Yeap, I'm in the same situation as you. I applied and they allowed me to download and print the form. I went to the post office to register my biometrics and now I received another officer letter from home office asking me to register biometrics (i believe this is the letter that they will send ...

Re: RLMT Verified

Thanks Dj. Yeap I have read up on the RLMT process but just wanted to clarify this point as obviously I want to make sure that everything goes smoothly as well. Thanks for your help! COS and RLMT are two different things. A company could offer you a job, assign you a COS and still fail RLMT. The fir...

Re: RLMT Verified

Thanks DJ. I would do that if I could but unfortunately my current sponsor is not sure if they are going to extend my contract, which is one of the reasons I want to leave if I've been given the opportunity. I guess I'll have to try and get the premium application done if / when my current sponsor d...

Re: RLMT Verified

What if the job is offered to another candidate? Then there is nothing I can do about this I guess. The reason I'm getting concerned is because my visa is expiring soon in about 7 weeks. Assuming the RLMT + interviews takes about 5-6 weeks from now and I am successful, I can only be offered the job...

RLMT Verified

Hi all, Just another quick question. I am applying for a role now with an employer and they are still advertising and interviewing other candidates so the RLMT process is ongoing. As my current tier 2 visa is going to expire soon (and I am unsure if I can extend it with my current employer), I want ...

Re: Difficult Tier 2 situation need advice

You can only be offered the job AFTER the full and proper RLMT is conducted for the 28 days. Thanks CR001. Yes, I am aware of that. What i meant is, assuming that I am offered the job AFTER the RLMT (so I will have 2-3 weeks left on my existing tier 2). What i intend to do is. Book a same day visa ...

Difficult Tier 2 situation need advice

Hi All, I am in quite a tricky situation at the moment and would really appreciate some advice. My current Tier 2 visa is expiring soon (about 2 months). My team is currently deciding if they are able to keep me and thus extend my Tier 2 visa. They expect to come to a conclusion soon (within 1 month...
