Re: URGENT: Letter included in visa LOST

He presumably has a visa in his passport does he not? This is sufficient. What letter does he think he has to present if he has a visa in his passport? It was the decision letter and written there in bold is that the letter should be presented to the immigration officer once he arrives UK. Also, in...

URGENT: Letter included in visa LOST

Hi! I am writing for a friend. He, apparently, lost the letter included in his visa -- the one that should be presented to the immigration officer once he arrives in the UK. Well, to be honest, there is no way he can retrieve it -- it was accidentally burned. His flight is on the 23rd and we'd like ...

Re: Application track Status

Additionally it also says: "The decision has been posted to you. You should receive this within 10 working days." - I have not been contacted by the VFS staff or received any email stating the above. Is it the standard procedure? Has my passport been dispatched? I opted for their courier ...

Froggie44, have you checked this one --> https://contact-ukvi.homeoffice.gov.uk/app/visa_application/checkvisastatus I checked mine just a few minutes ago. It revealed that my application has already been decided last 13th of August but 'til now, 17th, I have not received any sms nor an email about...

Re: Tier 2 Visa delay - 43 days

I am new to this so please bear with me, but I am puzzled with all the reports of the delays. Tier 2 processing times for most places say that 97% of applications are processed in 15 working days and 100% in 30 working days. The HO website claims these numbers are based on decisions made in May 201...

Re: Tier 2 Visa - 8 Weeks? When do I start counting?

I had my first application on 26May and was refused on 16June, which is exactly 15 working days for prosessing. I had my second application on 26July and received an email saying my application is not straightforward on 16Aug. The application is exactly the same with my initial one with new support...

Re: Tier 2 Visa - 8 Weeks? When do I start counting?

Which guideline mentioned 8 weeks? What I knew then was a standard visa application should take about 15 working days, priority at 3-5 days and super priority within 24 hrs. I filed mine last 3rd of August with priority application but I still haven't received a decision.

Re: Tier 2 Visa delay - 43 days

My start date in the cos was supposedly last 24th of July. However, since my agency failed to pay the fees on time, my visa appointment was filed just last 2nd of August. I applied for a priority service to catch up with the lost time, but look where we are now. Such misfortune we have. Anyway, I k...

During your VFS appointment, did they get your original documents? They did not get mine, except for my passport.
