Absolutely! Some sort of status check is expected at the very least. I have heard we can ask for some refund..i have heard of people receiving a part of the super priority cost refunded.

I applied for my ILR SET (O) through the 5 year route last week. They asked for additional docs (consent letter for-my son’s ilr application) which i sent through promptly. Yes..the employer also receives an email notification. I checked the status with employer and they said it still shows under review. On the other hand I found that Aug 2017 result has been published on the UKVI website. Below is the link to it, it only says how many application is approved but does...
