Hello Everyone, I applied for standard visa from Bangalore, India on 18th July (Biometric and Interview). The last mail i received from them was that the application has reached the decision making centre. They havent mailed about any delays. There has been no communication after this. Endless call...

Hey guys. Even I applied in Chennai through standard service. But I got a confirmation e-mail from British deputy high commission, Chennai and not Sheffield. I applied on 10th August btw. oh...but those guys applied on jully starting got mail from Sheffield...I think you will ur decision within 15 ...

True. But taking this long to process standard applications are inexcusable. Their own website claims that all non settlement applications are processed within 6 weeks and most within 3. bro...standard application are getting email from shefield...and priority service visa are getting email from Ch...

i applied next day...I called them nd they said those exact words....that means..we have to wait till they reply

I called UKVI today...worst service.. they are still saying ur application under process...nd then again the lady said...I will escalate ur application.. then I scolded but she didn't hear wt I said ,then she said again ill will escalate. I don't know wt they are seriously thinking about us..30 work...

The uni told me that there are many cases of delays and as such there is nothing much they can do. I've literally exhausted all possible means towards getting an update and there is absolutely nothing more I can do other than refresh that check your visa status tab every hour. Oh well..
