In otherwords ... will she be able to apply for another spouse visa for a second time? Reason: I may want to work and live abroad (with my wife) in China...

So after ILR ... do you need to do the test again?

What happens after ILR? ... More tests or just apply for Citizenship?

The FLR (M) vs SET (M)

My wife already has a settlement visa ... but in 2 years time, she will need to apply for ... FLR(M) = Extension of stay (No test required) OR SET(M) = Indefinite Leave to Remain (Life in the UK test required from April 2007 :x ) Which is better and what are the real main differences? My wife's Engl...

Just checked out the SET (M) application form ...

Section 5 ... where can I get more details about this?

Life in the UK test ... I thought this is ONLY required if you apply for Citizenship?

Looks like I'm gonna have to get a visa for my brtitish passort (via HK) before I enter China.

Though I usually don't usually need to with my HK-2-China ID.

I guess it's best to make sure ... as I AM marrying as a British Citizen (using my British passort) rather than a HK Citizen.

As I have said before ... I don't have a visa for my British passport. It's because I use my HK-2-China ID to enter China.

I guess it shouldn't matter ...

What will she require to apply for a spouse visa to enter the UK.

I thought it was standard to prove that I am a British citizen.

It's because I have a HK ID ... and was born in Hong Kong.

I now live and work in the UK all my life and am a FULL British citizen.

Dual Citizenship and Marriage in China

I have FULL and DUAL citizenship for both UK and Hong Kong. I will be marrying to my Chinese girlfriend in China in Feb 2007. Now my question is ... I usually enter Hong Kong using my HK ID. (no need for my British passort). However when I go to China I usually use my special HK-to-China ID. I do no...
