There's nothing you can do before you have been approved and actually become British, i.e. after your ceremony.
You can only book the ceremony once you have approval and passport can only be applied for once you are British.
Thank you for your advice.

Kind regards,

Re: Dependent visa Application impact due to previous refusal

Thank you CR001. No deceptions or false documents on the refusal. The home office has not accepted her sponsorship documents as her brother was the sponsor and the home office thinks that his finances are not enough to support her. They have ignored her own bank statements it seems to be. regards, H...

Re: Switching from Tier 4 Visa to Spouse Visa

I hope they respond within 28 days.

Would they be interviewing us within this period? and what will be the next step once we receive approval from Home office?

I hope I am not annoying you with my questions.

Re: Switching from Tier 4 Visa to Spouse Visa

Hi CR001,

Thank you for your advice. Its just the case of caution that i want to delay registering a civil marriage until I have my passport.

do you think a nikah certificate can be a valid proof of evidence for our relationship at the time of making her dependent application?

HI CR001, thank you for replying. It's because of my previous circumstance before ILR. which is why i don't want to risk anything. I believe it would be best after naturalisation.
