I was thinking of doing this....I will definitley forward everything they are asking me to the European Commission....just not sure if I want to risk the flight sans visa???? I would love to get into it at Dublin airport!! Just to see what they would actually do....the only problem is my poor husban...

SOP- don't think you and the OP have the same case as the OP is a british citizen which means her spouse would be exempt from the ban technically! Whereas your spouse is on a student visa....and many posters have already told you they think more than likely you will be banned for the next ten years....

I doubt they will be allowed enter with a one way ticket....remember a visa is just that it does not guarntee entry it is up to the immigration officer at the port of entry and a one way ticket will just look suspicious!

And is a return ticket not cheaper??? Usually they are?

Tan - you apply for EEA 2 not a EEA family permit the family permit is when you apply from a British Embassy abroad to travel to the UK and it is only valid for 6 months, the EEA2 is valid for 5 years and you will have the same rights as your spouse!
