Finally got my certificate today. Received at Irish Embassy in London late September. Letter dated 7th March received 29th March.

An update from the Embassy today after I emailed them.

Documents received 19/09/17 at the London Embassy.

14/03/18 - Application recently sent to Dublin and at an advanced stage.

No interaction in between, so hopefully nearly there :)

Cheers, that's reassuring to know. I did feel a tinge of regret not doing this before they were born but of course Brexit moves the goal posts.

My application was received via special delivery on 20th September 2017 at the London embassy. Sent all documents, application and photocopies.

Just going to leave it now until April next year and see what happens before contacting them. Will keep you posted and Good Luck everyone!
