I had applied for my 2nd extension as Dependant Partner (spouse of Tier 2 general visa)

Had done application via UK ID app on 27th July and still awaiting decision.

Yes I do have compatible phone to use the app.

Only confusion is should I use UK immigration ID Check app or not because if I use it it does not give an option to book appointment via UKVCAS site.

I had got mine refunded around 2 months later to the card that was used on previous application for IHS payment.

For obtaining sponsorship kindly liaise with a solicitor as they would help you on documentation that needs to be submitted to HO

Finally received IHS refund paid for my previous employer which overlaps with my new IHS being paid for change of employer.

Not getting a decision letter is not irrelevant. A decision letter may confirm a pathway an applicant is on, for example, five or ten year...

Only way is wait for UKVI to comeback to your query if you have raised one for not receiving BRP in stipulated time.

There's no other way unfortunately as production of BRP's is done by some other agency so minimal control and if your's is stuck it will have rippling effect on others too.
