COS will always have an end date otherwise makes no point in issuing it under restrictive Tier. Your sponsorer might get his license renew after 4 years so you will get duration mentioned on your COS : 3 or 5 yrs. You can only report it on link provided in your approval email if BRP not recieved in 7 working days and wait for their reply.

We were in same situation last year around where it took around 2 month's to get BRP. With current scenario one should expect bit of delay due to UKVI overwhelmed .

You can try replying to caseworker who mailed you about the same as he or she would be probably nearer to the situation on your case.

You need to do nothing.

Your current and future sponsorers will update SMS system's with all the details.

Ensure ur new employer has all your documents like BRP, PASSPORT copies as it would require and update on SMS (comment) you have started on so and so date
