Yes you need to provide one of parents' BRP showing you had ILR at time of child's birth.
Thanks for confirmation.

Do we need to send original for BRP or we send copy for same, just confirming so the process ain't delayed.

Re: New born kid British passport for parent's with ILR

If someone can provide inputs would be really helpful as the passport site indicates of sending only birth certificate.

Am bit confused as how they will identify parents being on ILR

Re: New born kid British passport for parent's with ILR

Just to add on: What all documents we need to provide for new born passport if someone can help please: 1. Birth certificate of little one (original) 2. BRP of parents (original or copy is fine) 3. Proof of address for parents staying at same address as new born. Anything else ? Thanks in advance!

New born kid British passport for parent's with ILR

Hello,

We have had an addition to our family (new born baby) and was wondering if he be default qualifies as British citizen in both parents are ILR.

OR do we need to fill form for the British citizenship and then apply for passport.

Any input's will help a lot.

Many Thanks!

Re: PBS dependent visa incessant delays - potential workaround

Okay thanks for confirming. I have applied the same for my wife on 06/11/2022. Lets see how it goes. UKVI have updated guidance for extending visa in country and takes on an average 16 weeks to make a decision 🤣🤣 such a joke they are. Re: PBS dependent visa incessant delays - potential workaround

You are still away from getting any decision as am waiting since end of July. + If you did not pay IHS fee appropriately and is adjusted by Home Office....god knows when they would bless with decision. They are simply just dragging cases with little information. Atleast update UKVI site so people ca...

Nope, still waiting at the helm of Almighty Home Office to decide upon.

Really don't understand how it can be so slow. All they like is taking money and than dead silence from their end.

I am also in same boat, have not heard anything from UKVI post submitting application since 27th July 2022.

MY visa is expiring in couple of days and not courtesy from them to tell it has breached 8 weeks SLA andnot updating timelines for processing Inside UK on UKVI website.

I am having the same question. Also priority service was no longer available when I applied on September 1. Was it an option for you?
I had applied in July so did not show any option via UK: ID aap

Re: Time to get decision on Dependant Partner extension

I have indeed seen the timelines but was worried as people having in person appointment are getting decisions in month's time even with they applying in September.

There is something not right as UKVI did not send email for not able to provide decision within 8 weeks.

Thanks for all of your inputs.
