Re: Check the status of your application online - New service

How -To: All I have is quick fingers and some spare time - I've literally typed in 500 reference numbers and recorded the results. Since "Not Recognised" and "Decided" status does not change at all, the tracking is only needed for "Awaiting Decision" and "Open&quo...

Re: Check the status of your application online - New service

Yes, since 31 May. I think that there are a few of us. I have had an email, but until I have an approval letter in my hand, not getting too excited. what H.O reply in email ? any good news ? "Granted" is what the email said; however, until I have an actual approval letter in my hands, I d...

Re: Check the status of your application online - New service

So you have been approved? Has it not been updated on line? I would not suggest you to follow the online status as my status online is still showing Awaiting but i received the approval along with Ceremony invitation letter and also i have booked the ceremony for next week. So plz don;t rely on the...

Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Process

See I think that's really poor. They have had 5 months to assign (which I assume is the first step!). I would be at them the minute it flicked to 6 months. Don't let them drag this out for you I agree. I mean i know all that privilege vs right stuff, but the point is you have an application and you...

Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Process

You never know, this might have been a prompt for them to hurry up and allocate it. ALSO who knows what they mean by that-maybe the allocation is the last stage (after checks done by others), then the caseworker gets allocated and the application checked by them as a final review. Its so non transp...

Re: Check the status of your application online - New service

I had a play around checking for different application reference numbers around my personal number. I noticed that not all logical sequential application reference numbers exist, for example if mine is 11233505 then 11233506 may not exist but 11233507 does exist. Assuming that they are given out mo...

Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Process

I applied on 13th of June, (Tier 1 Gen + 1 year ILR), and just had a response from the Homeoffice that the case has not yet been assigned to the case worker. Still clueless on how they assign cases :( See I think that's really poor. They have had 5 months to assign (which I assume is the first step...

Re: Check the status of your application online - New service

But the thing is that they are some people which they applied in september and they received already the decision. Thats why im confused I think it depends who your caseworker is and just basic luck. I agree its annoying people from Aug/Sep are getting acceptances now when people from May are still...

Re: Check the status of your application online - New service

I applied 10 July-where's my approval!!! Applied a week before you. I could say the same thing and so those from months ago without an update. Yeah I know, its so frustrating. Its actually starting to depress me. Not too worried now, it was a lot of money but life is more important than citizenship...

Re: Check the status of your application online - New service

I have contacted them twice , the told me wait till 6 months as i apply late june But if you have been 'decided' online and you have not received your letter that's a problem. Make that clear to them-the website has said decided but you have no letter. Ask them to email you a pdf of the letter sent...

Re: Check the status of your application online - New service

CR001, do you have the exact details what checks are being done as part of both processes? BTW, even SC (security Check) or DV (Developed Vetting) clearance from the government are taking shorter time than this naturalisation process. And I'm pretty certain they are significantly more complex than ...

Re: Check the status of your application online - New service

Anyway, they say the queries made for a citizenship application are more extensive as compared to those for ILR or DCPR, but I don't really think they do a lot more. I applied for the document certifying permanent residence on 14 June and received it mid August. Provided they made most queries at t...
