Re: Potential Breach in Work Conditions

I have been on a skilled worker visa since 2019 (Tier 2 General Work visa then) I am about to apply for my ILr but i am concerned that it could be refused. In september 2022 I picked up a part time job as a delivery driver as I understood from my conditions that I could work part time for 20 hours....

Re: Potential Breach in Work Conditions

did you do any self assessment tax for your part time? or it is on PAYE? I have a part time job as well and it is on PAYE. But this was not considered at all for my ILR and I did not submit any document for my part-time job. Yeah it was on PAYE It will be good to know which route you have opted and...

Re: Skilled worker dependant & multiple jobs

Thank you for the response. So basically a skilled worker dependent can do everything without limitation of hours or job sector (excluding access to public funds and working in the sport sector) ?

Re: Potential Breach in Work Conditions

Skilled worker guidelines for the settlement application suggests that " You should check the applicant's PAYE records for the past 12 months".

Additionally, supplementary work earnings is not considered for the application (until it's a second job).

I am on the skilled worker-dependent route, I am working as a limited company sole director. I have a team of sub-contractors in place to carry out the work. I withdraw my regular salary and dividend also. Additionally, I have recently been approached for a full-time job which is quite interesting a...

Re: Skilled worker supplementary work

There is no issue working for your wife's company as the guidance allows you to do that as an employee. The potentially questionable areas are - is the role you are sponsored to undertake and that the role in your wife's company truly the same? is the activity you are undertaking in your wife's com...

Re: Skilled worker supplementary work

I understand that it's a little tricky question and supplementary work requirements do not stop me from working in the family company. I would appreciate your response. I can stop working in my wife's company if there is any breach or will cause an issue in the ILR application (due in June 2026). Th...

Skilled worker supplementary work

Hi, I am on a skilled worker visa whereas my wife is on a skilled worker dependant visa and is the director of a limited company in UK. Sometimes, I work as an employee for my wife's company (meeting the supplementary work requirements e.g., 20 hours, same job code, outside normal working hours). My...

E-visa of new born baby and flight

I have got Evisa for a newborn baby. Both parents are legal responsible for the baby. Now baby is flying outside the country with her mother only (without her father). I believe there is no need of written consent from one parent to show at immigration or there are no issues if only one parent accom...

Re: New born and vis application (responsbility)

I doubt that they will accept that you will have sole responsibility over the child. However, if child was born in the UK, then s/he will be entitled to register for British citizenship immediately after you are granted ILR, without requiring her/him to apply for any permission to stay. However, do...

New born and vis application (responsbility)

I have submitted the skilled worker-dependant visa application for my daughter, and I have shown myself and my wife both responsible for the baby care. I have permission to stay in the UK till 28/04/2027 whereas my wife (mother of baby) has permission till 10/07/2026. I will be eligible for ILR by M...
