Hi,

Yes I married my wife in another country and were then issued with a spouse visa I was under the assumption that once in the UK we would have to marry here too... I guess not then..

Apologies I should have been more clear, my wife who I married in another country is now in the UK after being granted a spouse visa for two years.

I want to marry her in the UK so we can legally be husband and wife in the UK......

My wifes visa which was submitted in ISB took around 10 weeks, it depends on how complex the case is\work load @ the BHC...

Fiza,

Try ringing them and also emailing the HIGH COMMISSION.

Make sure in the subject line you write FAO ENTRY CLEARANCE MANAGER.

I did this and got a reply within 24 hours.....

Well I had this too, I was advised to create a document outlining the following for each person in my immediate family (I.E. MUM, BRO, SISTER)

NAME
DOB
OCCUPATION
ADDRESS
RELATIONSHIP

Thats all you need to do for each family member...

Hi,

Well I can only tell you what I think, and that is they have gone through the application and feel there is a need to speak to your wife, am sure they just want to confirm things and once confirmed they will most probably issue her with the visa.
