Re: ILR Eligibility Query

A follow-up question:

Q) Is there a possibility that I can claim citizenship for my child born in the UK after I get ILR, even if his recent leave to remain expired?

Re: no Acknowledgment email or no update after biometric

Hi Guys,

Wanted to share my experience, my dependents applied for a tier 2 extension in December and after 7 weeks they got their BRP cards delivered home., without any information or emails of any kind from the home office.

Good luck to all.

Jag.

Re: Evidence of maintenance funds for dependents

The guidance only states that you wont't require to show maintenance funds for the dependents if your last leave didn't ask the evidence for yourself, which I think is not the case. I am in a similar situation. On my last renewal I was not aksed for maintenance funds but the online protal does not ...

I did not need a criminal record certificate as it was not a requirement for my SoC..

Did you take the wrong IELTS? If that was the only reason I believe you could just re-apply with the right one without problems.
Yes carpa, I did take the wrong ielts last time. I reapplied yesterday in priority with ukvi ielts, hoping nothing else pops up this time fingers crossed!

my visa was also rejected for the same reason, I took the ielts ukvi general training and about to reapply for the visa.
if you're applying for a work related visa then ielts ukvi general training is the one to take.
