It is a Government record and the information is available.

You should have complete documentation showing everything you did to submit with your packet.

Be honest.

But there are two issues with this approach. If you decide to use NCS, they won't process your application with out filling the referee section. From April 2008, it is required regardless of the child age. where previously it was not as far as NCS is concerned. The email response works only if you ...

The referee requirement is part of the Good Character Requirement. The Good Character Requirement only applies to those over the age of 10. You will find that if you download, I believe Chapter 9, of the policy guidance. You need to do one of the following; 1.) Draw a line through that page and writ...

Call this as generic traveling advice. Make a scan of the citizenship Certificate and have her e mail it to herself. That way she can access it anytime and print it. That document copy will have no force but it has the Home Office registration numbers. It would be simple for a Consulate to establish...

You mean your British girlfriend. (':D') If she was born after 1981, she is British by descent from the mother. If she was born after 1961, she is British by entitlement to be registered. And if she was born before 1961, she will be able to be registered when the new law is passed. I shall assume sh...

Chris, couple other suggestions. Work on getting the documents now. If your mums birth certificate is not certified, order it from the UK now. Ask her for her old passport. Put everything in a fireproof safe. Hard to lose it then. Print out Form UKM and sketch it in now. If your mum no longer has a ...

There are others here that probably know better but I will give a try at answering your question. You are the spouse of a UK Citizen which also makes you the spouse of a EU Citizen. Your spouse has the right of free movement in the EU and with that comes the right for her to bring you. Your spousal ...

Home office will note on your file that you have completed the test.

When you apply for citizenship, you will tick the box that you already completed the requirement to be granted ILR.

Regardless, make a copy for your records. The certificate does have an original reference number with it.
