I am a similar situation to you, I applied for ILR on a the 5 year tier 2 route. I applied back November and tried to get the upgrade but told i was not eligible for it. I wonder what the difference is between your application and mine. Was you application straight forward?

Thanks for the reply, I was sure there had to be some leeway but needed to check. So stressful waiting to hear about it, really wish i had applied in person.
