Hi

Well you have to wait about 2-4 month before you get a letter from BHC. Once you get that letter than you can submitt your passport to Gerrys with that letter. Now for you, its just waiting game, keep patience and enjoy...

Hi

You have to wait for the time when you get a letter from HO asking you to submitt the passport. I think it can take from 2-6 months. Just keep patience and you would get your visa soon.
You would not be asked to pay fee again as you have already paid it at first time.

You can apply 3 months early. Rather its better for you to apply early, considering the long waiting/processing time. I have sent my application 6 weeks before my visa expiring and its now start of 8th week and I haven't got my passports back.

I think there are good chances of your husband's appeal being allowed. I would suggest you to hire a solicitor to represent your case in the court as well as pepare the grounds for appeal.
