Re: January 2018 Restricted COS

I checked with my sponsor and they are yet to hear on status of my rcos. I have 65 points not on shortage occupation and HO did not raise any queries it seems. Hoping for an update in couple of days now that ppl at higher scores started getting updates.

Re: January 2018 Restricted COS

Hi Ashish,

With in 6 months from date of job advt, cos should be allocated. So I guess Nov/Dec ads should be valid at least till April.

Did you get any update from HO asking for additional documents? Any idea what kind of documents were requested?

I am yet to hear from my sponsor and a bit anxious

Re: January 2018 Restricted COS

HO guidance says that indicative salary range is acceptable and as long as the salary offered is with in the range advertised, it should not be a problem.

Re: RLMT ads

Competitive salary is not an issue particularly for big firms as they tend to pay well but closing date is mandatory I guess unless it's rolling advertisement. There is no harm in asking them about closing date. I also enquired with my sponsor about competitive salary mentioned in the ad and they cl...

Re: January 2018 Restricted COS

Apart from basic, if car allowance is included in offer, I believe it will be considered. One time allowance like relocation allowance, allowance which is not guaranteed like bonus will not be counted. May be there is more to it but this is what I understood from immigration guidance

Re: January 2018 Restricted COS

I am hoping that we would get some update by Tuesday /Wednesday at least considering 5 working days from 11th, though it all depends on volumes and capacity of HO team. Last month also ppl with higher points started receiving updates in 3-4 working days.

postal priority service fee payable

Hi, While applying for priority postal service, the fee would be payable for each of the family member(main applicant and 3 dependents in my case) or one fee for the entire application pack? I know that visa fee and IHS surcharge are for each dependent and main applicant. Just wanted to confirm if p...

Re: HELP, language certificates from NARIC

Re: HELP, language certificates from NARIC

I think red route is for immigration and blue for academic purpose. For my tier 2 visa, I have been advised to use red route. Please check naric website.

RLMT repeated - offer letter needs re-issue??

Hi, I have been selected after a proper rlmt (rolling advt) and just before applying for RCoS, the job advt has been refloated due to minor issue with job advt content. My query is that my offer letter needs to be issued again or they will consider this as long as rlmt conditions are met. It's a job...

Re: December 2017 Restricted COS

Considering potential reapplications from Dec refusals, I guess they would maintain a higher cutoff in Jan as well and may be that's why there is no carry forward from Dec unlike last year's 1300 applications carried forward from Dec'16 to Jan'17.

Re: November 2017 Restricted COS

Hi abhmahaj1, Can you share what was the issue with salary in job advt. My job advt mentions competitive salary and I am worried it would impact RCoS application which will be filed in Jan. Iam not sure if they would reject if salary numbers are not mentioned. My employer has to do the re advertisin...
