I managed to get approval with exceptional consideration as I didn't have a tax return (having not worked in the UK for a full tax year). Instead I supplied 12 months of bank statements and 11 months wage slips, plus a letter from my employer stating my income, and I included a letter with my bank s...

FLR - urgent treatment

Hi,

Does anybody know if it is possible to apply for urgent treatment for a FLR application (not an HSMP extension)? I can see there is an urgent treatment form available, but this seems to only relate to the FLR(IED) applications.

I sent my application (in-country) 1 March, was received 5 March. Still waiting for my reference number though I paid by cheque so I think there has been a delay while waiting for the cheque to clear. Not sure when I should start getting worried?!

Income band - query re application form

On Q28 Q31 on the application form, I am a bit confused as to what to put for the income band and country code - according to the guidance, my country code is A (I am in the UK), but what should I put for the income band? Should I put eg. £20,000+? I am really confused as the wording in the guidance...

Cover letter under new rules

Is a cover letter still required? Nowhere in the guidance notes (that I can find) does it state that one is needed.

I am putting my application together and wondered what the best 'format' is: should applications/evidence be put inside a folder etc?
