Before HSMP became Tier 1, MBAs were given 75 points. Does any1 know about what transitional arrangements were in place when the MBA was removed from the list? Based on what I read in the UKBA site, you could still claim 75 points for your MBA if you had your initial leave granted with MBA. If you h...

Hi,

Mine was a similiar case.
After a loooooooooong wait of 4 months, I got it approved.

The delay in your case (like it was in my case) could be because they are awaiting results of some verification checks.

Thanks,
Josh

Dear All,

Update.........

I called up the British High Commission to confirm if I can apply for a BV while the HSMP is being processed.

They said it is not possible. I will have to wait until the HSMP is through or I will have to withdraw the application.

Thanks,

Dependant Visa to WP

Hi, I understand that a WP dependant spouse can work. I'v heard its difficult for dependants to find work since it depends on the spouse's time in the UK? How true is this? Can a WP dependant visa be converted to a WP eventually? If so, how long should the employer of the dependant wait before apply...

Reshma,

One thing..

What my university told me is that if the letter is given in a University Letterhead then they do not normally stamp the letter. They generally provide the seal when the letter is issued in plain paper.

Did you get your NARIC letter?

Thanks
