Re: MIR for Spouse visa

Both (£18360+4300= 22660) will fall under salaried person. I agree with calculation. That's good to know that I meet the MIR correct? However do youse know if the HO will accept the shift allowance? That's what I'm worried about Yes of course and I know many people who have been approved with shift...

Re: MIR for Spouse visa

Hey, I just wanted to double check if I meet the MIR. Currently my basic salary is £18360 however, I receive a fixed shift allowance due to the shift pattern I work. The total is £4300 a year. Both (£18360+4300= 22660) will fall under salaried person. I agree with calculation. That's good to know t...

Re: MIR for Spouse visa

Define the shift allowance. Is this a contractual payment, due to night shifts or the like? Yes it is stated in my contract/it is a part of it that every year I will get £4300 shift allowance spilt in 12 monthly payments. I work 4 days on and 4 days off 8am-8pm, hence the shift allowance as it is c...

MIR for Spouse visa

Hey, I just wanted to double check if I meet the MIR. Currently my basic salary is £18360 however, I receive a fixed shift allowance due to the shift pattern I work. The total is £4300 a year. This shift allowance is spilt equally into 12 payments for each month. This is a salaried job. My question ...

Re: Schengen Visa from Pakistan - exercising EU Family Treaty rights

EDIT: Also I'm sure someone told me that easiest way would be to apply for a visit schengun visa instead of saying we're exercising EU treaty law and then once we're both in the country apply for residency card etc? Anyone have any idea about this?

Schengen Visa from Pakistan - exercising EU Family Treaty rights

Hi! Since my last thread on here, my husband (Pakistani) has gone back to Pakistan last year. We reapplied for spouse visa however that was refused as I work in the family business etc. I've been trying to find another job that earns £18600 but no luck and since we are both young (26) we decided to ...

Re: HELP! Husbands visa rejected!! Need advice ASAP!

Ok I've read this again properly. I would guess (although I'm not one of the experts here, despite accusations to the contrary!) that he can apply once you have the 6 months payslips. So if that is say 4 months from now, he can apply in 4 months, from Pakistan. How soon would he need to leave? We a...

Re: HELP! Husbands visa rejected!! Need advice ASAP!

To CR001 - even with priority they're taking 7/8 months?! We were going to apply through priority application if he had to go back to speed things up, but if they're taking 7/8 months that sucks even more :(. A bit more information about us - we're a young couple, no kids, my husbands been here lega...

Re: HELP! Husbands visa rejected!! Need advice ASAP!

Why would it take so long for him to return , is it because you don't meet the financial requirements for the spouse visa? In some cases someone has to leave the UK and then can immediately make an application to return (although of course you need to meet the criteria for the visa) Perhaps because...
