With respect to NHS payment. My rejection letter from Home Office states some threats to me that if I do not file an appeal I can be deported, detained, prosecuted etc AND CAN BE CHARGED BY NHS for medical treatment, if I do not file an appeal the Immigration Health Surcharge will be refunded. I did not read the rules until I decided to relocate to the UK. I have no idea as to when the rules were introduced. USA citizens do not need visa to enter the UK. No, I was not aware that I need a spouse visa. I read the rules but nowhere it was stated that I must have a spouse visa.
