Dear Friends,
Since i have some constraints, i want to book one way ticket from India to London. Can i do this ?, Or is it compulsory to book return flight tickets.

I have plans to come India in december' 07, so i will book return flight tickets from UK.

Query for medical test, Please share your experiences - i have not been told to go for medical examination. Does this mean it is not required as they have already given Visa. Just confused about this process.

Finally received my HSMP VISA for two years (until April 2009). My Entry clearance process took 17 days. i am feeling better today. Now i will have to go for medical tests.
I would like to say thank you to everybody. Initially it seemed a difficult task for me to get my HSMP visa.

I feel that integra stuff of EC process is taking more time. I had applied on 30/03, but still status is the same, i.e. application submitted to BHC. This is more time consuming, then the actual HSMP approval from home office UK. We now need to have more patience.

Hi All,
I have applied EC on30th march in Mumbai, while i was paying VFS fees, the lady there at cash counter told me that the process will take minimum 10 days.

I am planning to travel alone initially, so having around 4 L in my bank account for entry clearance. I have money borrowed from friends and relatives to show the bank statement during EC. Will that do ? How are you managing this criteria.

Still i am preparing following things:
1) Affadivit stating parents will help financially, if required during my stay in UK.
2) Asset Valuation through a lawyer for liquid and fixed assets.

What is the status at your end ? Have you already given your docs to VFS ??

I am having similar thoughts for the Accomodation Proof. One of my friend has suggested to get letter from friend and also xerox copies of UK friends passport to show his current UK status to Embassy. What do you say ?

Hi nouna,
i had applied from India in month of February & so i was unable to give my Income Tax documents. Here in our country we receive our income tax return documents in April. Hence i could not submit IT return documents. And in Guidance doc of HSMP it is an accepted issue.
