First adult passport application

Hi all! Just a quick question regarding one of the documents needed for first adult passport application: the passport you used to come into the UK or the foreign passport you’re included on I have 3 passports = 2 expired and 1 valid. Should I include all of them or just the valid one or the one tha...

Citizenship

Hello again! I have few random situational questions I needed answering (pretty please) I am on ILR and I am eligible to apply for naturalisation this year. I am married to a natural born British Citizen. However, I didn’t use the spousal route to meet my previous immigration applications. Tier 2 (G...

Tier 2 (General) to ILR (5 year route)

Hi guys, So I am due to apply for my ILR this end of the month. During my 5 years as a Tier 2 General holder, I have spent <100 days outside the U.K. Do I really need to provide an employer's letter stating all the dates (paid annual leave) as evidence of UK absences. I mean, legally, the employer n...

Re: Tier 2 Extension - Incomplete Job Title

Hi all!

Tier 2 extension approved. I did not make any cover letter or any correction on the application form. The application process took 45mins. My next application would be ILR in June this year. =)

Thank you

Re: Tier 2 Extension - Incomplete Job Title

Hi UKLL, Thank you it’s just I’m used to be called as a “staff Nurse” instead of the mouthful “Paediatric Intensive Care Nurse”. It’s just I don’t want the case worker to get confused with two different job title mentioned on COS and actual application form. It’s an extension as well so they have my...

Re: Tier 2 Extension - Incomplete Job Title

Hi all, Sorry if my question was unclear. So basically on the application, I have put “Job Title: Staff Nurse” instead of following the COS “Job Title: Paediatric Intensive Care Nurse” Does it really matter? I mean, it falls under one SOC code: 2231 Nurses. So I think the best thing to do is correct...

Tier 2 Extension - Incomplete Job Title

Hi, After I have submitted my online application, I have realised that I have declared an incomplete job title. My Employer provided a COS stating the job title "Paediatric Intensive Care Nurse" although the job type is "2231 Nurses - Band 5 and equivalent" I have only provided &...

Indefinite Leave to Remain: short of 3 months and 1 day

Hi, It would be great if you can answer my questions on the following situations: 1. In total, I have 4 years, 8 months and 29 days under Tier 2 (General) visa. I know there are loads of thread regarding this but I couldn’t find a more specific case like mine (mostly here are 10-year long residence)...
