Chaps

My OCI has been dispatched on 25th Nov (Monday). No update on document recieved in London. I am travelling this weekend and i did not apply for visa this monday as usually it takes only a day for OCI to arrive in London. Any others with similar dispatch dates and have updates?

Hi,

I am in same boat. The processed date is 16 Nov but no update on dispatch from Delhi. I need to travel on 30th Nov. can anyone of you please share the OCI Delhi Email contact and i can see what they say? I might apply for Visa on this monday.

Going through the information in the links, it seems minor cannot give up the citizenship until he/she is 18 years.

The reason i ask is i am planning to quit my permanrnt job and get into contracting. Just out of curiosity - When there is a gap of couple of months between Tier1 Expiry and the PR application date. What happens in scenario where ther Tier1 gets rejected and the applicant appeals. Very true its frustating and waste of money.

By the time we get the extension we will be eligible for PR as you can apply when you have completed 4 years and 11 months.
