I applied for naturalisation in 2018. I received a letter today stating that I need to explain how I supported myself during that time that was not here legally or else my application will be refused. Filling form at NCS

I went to NCS today. They gave me a form that is asking if at any time I have been in breach of immigration law since I entered the country. Brief history: Entered uk 2002 asylum refused and signed on till 2011. Dl issues in 2012 and again 2015. Ilr issued in July 2018 after 6 years of dlr. Iam marr...

Asylum refused 2008
First dlr granted March 2012
Second dlr granted on Sep 2015 to August 2018
Applied for Ilr on 18 july at Peo Birmingham
Ilr granted after 2 hours

Yes you can apply anytime now. My card is expiring at the end of August 2018. My 6 years dlr was in Feb 2018. I applied on 18th July and got ILR. Good luck

Congratulations!! I have travelled a lot as well. Did you list all the travels you have done for the 6 years of dlr? Hope it will be fine for me. Also what documents did you submit. Thanks

My first dlr was granted on 8th march 2012. I have just read that my new application should have been within 28 days after qualifying period which makes it 5th April 2018. Was planning to apply in person at the end of the month does that mean Iam late to apply. My second dlr card expires in July, 20...

You can travel to your home country if you have your passport. I am on my 2nd dlr and have always travelled with no problem

Thank you CMOSUK, I was granted in March, 2012. Is there anyone who is failed asylum seeker and applied indefinite after 6 years dl route, through PEO successful? Or does it have to be by post. I really need to travel and I don't want to wait for so long through postal applications. Thanks
