Hi, Got my EC in 12 normal days...applied on the 14th march and EC was stamped 21th March (1 week later), got my passport back on the 26th March and now back in the UK. EC applied from Nigeria. Make sure you include all your original docs u sent for initial HSMP with prove of funds and accommodation...

Hi Mayana,

Got my EC visa today.....tookm 12days in all. Did they return ur original HSMP approval letter to you cos mine was returned to me but my bank a/c statement, parents bank a/c statement, letter from my UK uni statin my degree was taught in English wasnt returned though.

Hi Mayana, Thanks 4 the info. Submitted my Tax clearance (P60), letter from former employer stating how much i earned while workin 4 them and savings bank A/C. well it can be bcos caseworker are only allow to make 1 phone call and if that phone call does not actually clarify or support ur application, then there is likely to be a refusal even if the line does not go thru....and i know its stupid and ridiculous.

Best bet is to sit for ILETS and get the required grade then u dont need to worry about gettin NARIC, Check the British Council site in Lagos on how to register for the Test. Besides, how's the Tax system in Lagos, cos thats the most important piece of document Home Office/Caseworker wants to see. I...
