Received my BRP :D
Noticed it does not have a ‘yellow chip’ like my last one. Is this normal? I am guessing it’s probably newer technology but wanted to confirm!

Thanks
Congratulation!

The dates on your BRP and approval are the same date or not?

Is no one posting on the ILR Set(LR) timeline or really there were no applications decided since yesterday, 18/Jan. If someone received approval, please post on the timeline. Thanks!

Re: Varying Tier 2 extension application to ILR LR

Firstly do not mention your UAN on the public forum. Which UAN is this? Extension or ILR? Sorry, is there any way to edit? Leave to remain, the extension So it means your extension application is varied and ILR will be considered then? As extension can not be granted because you varied? You can req...

Re: Varying Tier 2 extension application to ILR LR

Thanks for your reply. Now, I see how to proceed. Once you start a new application, the online form asks if you have a pending application. You will declare it there anyways. Adding a cover letter is also a good practice. Hi CULLINAN, Hi All, Today I have received an email from HO: You applied for ...

Would the new four week lockdown effect current waiting time?

Hi All,

Here we have another four weeks lockdown. But this time school and universities seem to remain open but how about Home Office? Would the lockdown delay visa processing time or not? Does anyone know?

Re: Varying Tier 2 extension application to ILR LR

Yes. If the main applicant has varied a pending in-time valid Tier 2 extension to ILR under Long residence , then the Tier 2 dependants are no longer eligible to extend as Tier 2 dependants. If dependants also satisfy the Long residence requirements (on the date of the decision), then they may also...

Hi All, Here is my case and I wonder I can do same or not. 1. Submitted Tier-2 visa application: Main+2 dependents on 11/May/2020. 2. Our current Tier-2 visa expired on 14/June/2020. 2. Main applicant came to UK on 30/Sep/2010 and both dependents on 10/Nov/2010. 3. Invitation to use IDV app for Tier...

I am eager for the fastest route as I am in a predicament job wise. However, my solicitor cannot find any appointments available a...

ILR holder vs British Citizen.

Hi All,

I understood that if you are ILR holder you can not vote for General Election and the ILR status can be lost if you live outside UK for more than two years. Other than these two points what are the difference between settled person and British citizen?

Thanks in advance
