Admitting a visa refusal to one country does not necessarily mean that you will be refused when applying to another one! Just be honest in your application and hope for the best. :)

Whether they (UKBA) can find out or not, are you intending not to disclose the fact that you overstayed, should you be asked, in any further visa applications to the UK?
Many an applicant have found themselves paying a high price for this 'mistake'.

I am interested in the child being registered as british citizen. You might have misunderstood my question.I should have been more clearer. With the father's PR in question, the child's British nationality hangs 'in question' too! The best is for the dad to sort out his PR issue, then yes, the child...

Batelykhan has already said it all!
Go overboard if you have to, and just give it everything you've got!
When it comes to visa applications 'more is less'.
They will look at the documents that matter to your case and ignore the rest. So you lose nothing!

Monts123, no matter how you dress up the question, the fact is you will almost certainly need a visa if you wish to travel within Europe!
Unless you're going to a european country where Indian citizens do not normally require a visa (can't think of a single one off my head, though. :| )

You 'only' applied in December! You should be so lucky if you get it soon!
I must say, though, that the fact you've been given a case number is a positive thing.
Fingers crossed, hey.

Previous visa rejected and no UK immigration history? Start with a six month visa! Be sure to mention the previous refusal, where asked. Should she abide by the conditions of the six month visa (eg not working, overstaying, etc..), then it may be safe to ask for a long term one, later on. As Wandere...

Another point to keep in mind is that, should the Indefinite Leave application fail, she may have problems attaining another visitor visa, when the current 5 year one expires. I think you need to weigh the odds very carefully, before you embark on this one. You just might be jumping from the proverb...
