Re: eu card

but can u please explain me he can go to spain or other eu country on that eu card without visa It's usually okay to go visa free within the schengen area if you have an EU card. You specifically mentioned UK ! UK is NOT Schengen, and they prefer that family members apply for an EEA FP, regardless ...

Anyway, should I still show the permit when arriving on the 4th? Well, the IO is bound to skim through your passport! I don't see how s/he would 'miss' it! I do think that somehow, even if you go before the 14th, you will be allowed in by virtue of your being a non-visa national. Albeit you might h...

Or your could give the embassy a call and ask them to change it for you. As you even have evidence of your flight booking, it shouldn't be a problem. I remember many moons ago, my EEA FP was wrongly endorsed (long story  ). But anyway, they made the correction within a day! But I guess it dep...

As long as you 'remember' to mention the previous refusal, if at all you are asked about any visa refusals on your Tier 1 application, then it shouldn't be a problem. Good luck!

Re: Overstayer problem at airport

Dear Sir, The biggest mistake you have done was leaving London, yes, they said if u leave london you will come after 1 year by law but it is not true, in fact you will never come back. They are liars, the Home office is liar. I left London with my children on my own, bought my ticket in the heathro...

Rozen, Thanks for your reply. As you said, she can re-apply for a visa after six months again. Can she apply for a 1 year visa then as I have been told by some of my friends that you can get a longer visa for your next visit? She can even apply for a 2 or 5 year one! As long as she does not oversta...

Re: Extension of visa for my mother-in-law

My mother-in-law is currently in UK on a 6 month family visit visa which expires in July 2010. I want her to stay on for another couple of months. Is it possible by any means to extend her stay in UK? Generally , NOPE! Unless there was some really extenuating reason! For example, serious illness (f...

So in your appeal... Did you address the reason why you did not mention your criminal record on your application? Or did you just 'argue that the refusing you a visa would prevent you from ever seeing your daughter again'?
If you did not address the former, then I'm afraid it will fail... again.

Thx.
But what was their IMMIGRATION STATUS in the UK at the time he was born? No matter they are/were Pakistani! It is their immigration status at the time, that will determine his fate.

Tick 'YES' if they do (which I suppose your wife is one of them).
But somewhere they will ask applicant to list 'dependant' children. If they are over 21, I would leave this bit blank!

Re: Sponsors: How much money will they give you?

I am sponsoring family visit visas for my parents in law (applying for five year visas) and my 12 year old niece (6 months - will be her first trip; previously applied for a visa in 2003 to attend our wedding but refused, no written explanation given), all from China. I'm particularly thrown by que...

Perhaps part of the problem is that your wife is currently in the UK and not in Italy, where you are applying to go?
The proof of reservations and travel tickets that you gave to the embassy, did they include your wife as well? Or were they just for you?

Goodtimeassured, it does not help your case by starting a new thread over the same issue! The end result is that members are now asking you questions which, if you had continued in your old thread, they would have understood where you're coming from! Try to keep it in one. For those of you trying to...
